Thomas Faelli

Thomas Faelli is a lawyer specialising in financial regulation and compliance, with extensive experience across the banking, insurance and investment sectors. 

He began his career in leading law firms, where he developed a strong foundation in business law, before focusing on regulatory and compliance matters through roles within financial institutions and at the Belgian Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA). In June 2018, he co-founded Ethikos, a boutique law firm specialising in regulatory, compliance and financial law. 

Thomas Faelli holds a law degree from the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB), an LL.M. in Advanced Business Law from Ghent University, an MBA from Solvay Business School, and an LL.M. in Corporate Law from KU Leuven. He is actively involved in academic and professional activities, including as a jury member for the Certified Compliance Officers examination at the Febelfin Academy.
